Appointments

If you are a new patient or it has been a year since you received your last referral:

 

Get a referral to see one of our team members - this usually comes from your GP or a specialist.​

If you already have an appointment booked, go to step 03.

​

Otherwise, please call or email to make an appointment.​

We are also happy to take patients from rural and regional areas. If you are a regional patient, please mention this when contacting us and we can make your appointment more convenient for you.

You should receive a confirmation SMS / text message in the week before your appointment.

It will ask you whether you will be attending your appointment. Please respond at your earliest convenience.

Come to your appointment.

 

Depending on your situation, you may need to bring the following to your appointment:​

​

• A referral

• ​Your medicare card

• Your pension card

• Your private health insurance card

• A list of your medications

• Blood test and/or scan results​

Most appointments will include a consultation. This is where you will get the opportunity to talk to the doctor, describe your symptoms and routines, ask questions, and address any other relevant topics.

​

Beyond consultations, most appointments include either a standard echo or a stress test, and some appointments will only include a test. See Echos for information about these tests.

After your appointment, if follow up appointments are needed, we can schedule them for a day that suits you.

Before you leave, you also may need to pay a fee. Fees vary depending on what happens in your appointment.
