Dr Jamie Cham is a cardiologist with expertise in general cardiology and with extra training in heart rhythm disorders (electrophysiology). After graduating from the University of New South Wales with distinction, he went on to gain a Masters of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) at the University of Sydney, before completing his physician training and cardiology advanced training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He subsequently undertook sub-specialty electrophysiology and cardiac device/ pacemaker training at Liverpool Hospital, before working as a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist at Campbelltown Hospital. He is now a staff specialist at Concord Hospital, providing general cardiology services, electrophysiology consultations and performing device implantation and invasive electrophysiology procedures.
Dr Cham is passionate about helping patients to understand their cardiac conditions and working with them in both prevention and treatment. He enjoys working with patients across the spectrum of cardiovascular disease, and working with other sub-specialists to offer the latest advances in cardiac therapies.
Throughout his career, Dr Cham has been passionate about teaching and mentorship, and has received multiple awards for teaching medical students and physician trainees.
